Congresses and Symposia:

 To date, the Center has helped to organize an International Congress on Art and Psychoanalysis with the Freud Center of the Hebrew University and several International Congresses on Jewish Art with the Center for Jewish Art, and has organized international and national symposia on art history in honor of Kurt Weitzmann, one of the most important scholars on Byzantine Art, and in honor of Moshe Barasch, who founded the Department of Art History at the Hebrew University and laid the cornerstone for Art History on a university level in Israel.

On 14/06/2010 the History of Art Department had the first Symposium of Research Students: summary presentation

Videos and other recordings purchased by the Center are placed in the care of the Media Library in the Library Building on the Mount Scopus Campus.

Visiting lecturers on art and art history give one to three lectures at the Department of Art History to which the whole University and the public are invited. Such lecturers have included:

Applications for Visiting Lecturers and Congresses: Those interested in joining the Center to organize a congress or symposium, to invite lecturers for an individual lecture, or to lecture at the Center's invitation, should write to the Director of the Center, stating the details and cost of the congress, or, in the case of an individual lecture, providing a CV of the lecturer, and details about the proposed lecture and its date.
